I think it's great that there's a gambeson pattern for a female form. Thank you! Everything worked well and was understandable. I had to make the following adjustments: The calculated amount of fabric was way too much - I could have saved myself some money. The sleeves are too long, so I shortened them. The torso is too long, so I shortened it too.

I'm very impressed with the pattern! Often when printing patterns at home, you're left to guess about gaps between the pages, or things don't line up quiiiite right, but this pattern eliminates all those issues. Each page is clearly marked so they don't get out of order, and each sheet has registration marks to make it easy to match it up with the next sheet. I also appreciate the range of sizes that came with this. :)

Very easy to follow instructions (with photos! YES!), and great for an intermediate sewist. If you have experience altering patterns (sizing), then this is a cake walk. The project itself can be very time-consuming, but that is NOT because of the pattern - it's simply because the garment is SO DETAILED. I absolutely adore this pattern.

These patterns are wonderful and the designer/seller goes above and beyond to help out. I expressed frustration that the bundle file has all the individual patterns on a single print. My body type is 12 top, 18 bottoms so I would have had to print the entire file twice. Resulting in a lot of waste and time spent printing. The seller sent me the files individually in my correct size to make the process easier in just a short period! I'll absolutely be looking for future patterns here first.

This pattern is really good! This was my first big cosplay sewing project and my prototype was definitely a mess, but I got there eventually! The discord was a bit help! The pattern instructions are pretty good, for this pattern there were extra steps I had to find in the discord for the sleeves (which I haven't completed for the real dress yet). However, other than that, the pattern was easy to follow along with and I had fun making it!

I’ve bought tons of patterns over the years, both on Etsy and from major pattern companies… I’ve never been this thoroughly impressed by a pattern’s quality before. Everything is labelled and organized so well, instructions are thorough and understandable, and the number of sizes that have been provided (and separated into their own print ready PDFs) is really amazing! I really appreciated the thoughtful way the pattern was laid out on the printable pages, and the instructions were clear enough. The guidance way overestimated how much fabric was needed - I bought more than double what I used to make a size 14. The pattern tailoring itself had issues - the back bodice was too long, so fabric bunched in the small of the back. But since the skirt is already shorter in the back, raising the waist made it super short and stick out a bit, so that had to be adjusted as well. Also, the sleeves were bizarre - too big in the bicep but so small in the cuff they wouldn't go over an average adult hand. I was able to fix everything and make a pretty nice gambeson, but it required redrafting some of the pattern.

Great pattern! I used it as a base to sew a pourpoint to be worn under a suit of armor. Unfortunately I can’t speak for the instructions as I used a different construction method with pre-quilted fabric and a single layer rather than an outer/inner, but the pattern itself was easy to put together and sized accurately. The only sizing modifications I had to do were shortening the sleeves and torso. I love how this looks and am so grateful for a gambeson pattern that works for a female body.

I'm midway through my Wavemother's Robe project and this pattern is wonderful! It's well drafted and the instructions are excellent. They aren't illustrated, but the shop owner is obviously ready to help and provide guidance which is amazing! I really appreciate that the files included really good reference photos from the game, as well. Some sizing tips that may be helpful: I'm 5'2" and shortened the bodice front and back by two inches at the waist line and took two inches off the hem. I also fit into three different sizes for bust waist and hip and usually grade between sizes. This pattern doesn't have nested sizes, but rather a file for each size, but I found that choosing a smaller size and just sizing up the back skirt gave me the room I needed and meant I didn't have to do a lot of slashing and spreading/narrowing.

This pattern was a lifesaver of time for me to not have to draft my own. I’m a professional seamstress so for me working with the pattern wasn’t a problem. But overall I would say that this is a complicated design in general for a novice sewer. Especially because this design requires a lot of custom fitting to make sure all lines line up correctly on the body. Absolutely requires a mock up for at least the gambeson with adjustments if you want the best fit possible.

I had some trouble initially with the files not wanting to ooen on my computer, but the seller sent some more troubleshooting to try, and while they didnt work, they offered to find another way to send if i couldnt get them prontes out. I ended up usinf my sisters computer and it worked, but i was very thankful that she was so fast to respond and make it work. The patterns were well thought out and very easy to put together, though you'll want to walk the seams and add notches yourself fornsomenofnthe more extreme curves. The large SA included made it easy to make and alterations i needed on the mockup. I only modified the sleeve and collar to suit my personal preference, and patterned out some facings Overall very happy with this purchase, and id happily buy another pattern from them again

Nice pattern for straight sizes but do not buy if you are plus size, it is scaled up terribly. Essentially had to draft the garment myself after the pattern had the sleeves wider than they were long! The ruffle and collar were also ridiculously large.

I have absolutely zero sewing skills and had to learn how to use a sewing machine when I started this project. The pattern was super easy to follow and made making this dress so easy. I ended up not using the instructions as I had to alter how to sew the dress as I was working with a thick vinyl fabric. When I originally had the idea to make this dress I was lost and didn't know where to begin but with this easy to follow pattern it made it easy and I have never been more excited to work on a project before. This pattern was extremely fun to make! I am so impressed by the accuracy of GrangerPlace's patterns that I joined their pateron before I was finished with my project! My mother is rekindling her love for sewing and we've been working on this vampire's outfit together. She was intimidated by the pattern at first (she's used to having follow-along pictures.) But the instructions are clear enough that we figured it out pretty easily. We finished the shirt feeling very proud. My friends are already asking us to make them shirts! I'm very happy with this purchase and can't wait to delve into more GrangerPlace patterns!

The seller was more than helpful when contacted. They're absolutely lovely! The pattern itself was... something, Maybe others will find it to be exactly what they need, but it was not right for me at all, I ended up completely redrafting all the pieces for something that would fit and sit better. The ruffle was extreme, to say the least and I do have a personal bias against it. I would recommend it to others

As a quick disclaimer I am a novice sewer - this was my first major project since high school. The pattern was easy enough to follow with some exceptions. It was great to have the different sized patterns available as I had to had use two different sizes for the top and bottom. Printing out and assembling the pattern pieces was very easy. Though, pieces of pattern would be missing, and I had to fill it in (end of A4 updated ruffle S10 was cut off, corner of trouser hem S12 [pg F-10]) Some assembly pictures would have definitely helped, even just to be able to reference how pieces are meant to sit together, e.g. the collar with the ruffle and bias ends. Having access to the extra/updated files was really good, as too was the ability to contact the creator for any assistance. Overall I had a good time making this. Solid 4.5

I'm giving this pattern 5 stars solely based on the creator's willingness to take feedback, give guidance, and put in great pattern updates. The actual pattern could probably use more photos/visuals for some of the instructions as well as a bit more clear instructions (and I'm an intermediate sewist), but they were happy to answer questions and the pattern pieces themselves were really easy to work with! I kind of ended up piecing things together mostly based on my own experience which was fine enough, and the finished product was a huge hit at my local con.

I bought the Elsa dress pattern so I could get the correct skirt shape and shoulder capes shape, and the design locations and it worked perfect. Store owner helped me practically immediately (response within hours on a Sunday) when I was having trouble printing. I probably wouldn’t have had trouble printing if I had read the instructions better but I was just so excited to get started. I know some people say it’s fiddly to tape the pattern together but that’s true of all sewing patterns bought online and not on the store/design. If you aren’t able to easily print and cut together it could probably be taken to a print shop to print large scale as I’ve done for patterns before. Regardless wonderful pattern!

The cape is super easy to put together I loved it. It could have been just me but I could not figure out the sweater easy at all had to find the artist on instagram and look at her putting it together to figure it out, and as a more curvy woman (46inches around full bust and 36 around waist) no matter how much I resized it wouldn't fit my measurements. I would say that maybe it could come with some more instructions on how to actually put the pattern together.

So happy to find a pattern for her coat as there's very little help out there for this cosplay. It might take me a while to get my head around putting the parts together but I'm pretty good at figuring these things out. I would suggest that if a video was linked of someone actually using this patten and creating the coat for us to visually follow, that would be amazing and a great help.

This was an alright pattern, but I would have been better off making my own edits to a simple shirt pattern. I would only recommend this for very experienced sewers. I am an experienced sewer and would not recommend this to anyone who has not sewn and drafted many times. This would probably work if you have the exact dimensions as the creator, but too many adjustments need to be made after the draft is made, and every piece needed heavy alteration. The lack of guidance on the actual pattern pieces would also cause issues for an inexperienced sewer.

A simple, easy to use pattern if you are curious how Ashe's coat looks like. Seller was quick to answer any questions I had about the design. Recommend using a large tablet or projector to blow up the image to match your body style. This pattern will get you to where you need. It's also easy to modify, which is what I did. :)

Once my photos are done I’ll add them! 1- This is a very nice pattern with obvious shapes of where you attach what. It also right off the bat looks like it will be the right shape! 2- Emily/Granger is supremely helpful if you have questions! I recently asked a question about how to attach two pieces together and they near instantly replied with what to do and why the pattern was made the way it was. Even after their first response and my second question to double check what I was doing, they continued to further their answer and lead me on the right path! 3- Now this is my only negative, but the positives cancel this out for me. My only problem was that I had a hard time printing the pattern to a large size/multiple pages. But I put the pattern on my tv and traced it on pattern paper, so it worked out! Overall 10/10!!
